Mindset Motivation
Positive thoughts and practices are the
weights that keep us sharp and toned.
![]() This past weekend, I traveled to an event that encompassed the total purpose of what my word of the year is and why I chose it. I’m sure you know how important the start of your day is each morning. The first 20 minutes are essential to the flow of your day. I feel the same way about the beginning of my year. The start of my year sets the pace and atmosphere for the rest my year. I’m not talking about unexpected things that we have no control over; that’s just life. I’m talking about the intentional things we do at the start of the year. Many of us have caught onto doing vision boards which I am SO happy has become a “trendy” thing to do. I love when positive things become trendy. That’s the only time I don’t mind being like everyone else! Lol. I too did a vision board this year, but I did something new as well. I attended Tasha Chen’s “The MANIFESTING Event” – Where money and success get manifested. This was my first time going. Now, I know Tasha, I’ve attended an event of hers previously and have had multiple encounters with her, and LOVE her spirit. She knows her purpose and she walks confidently in it to help others. However, I still didn’t quite know what to expect from the big event. The events I’ve attended of hers have been more of a small group and intimate setting. I go the event with a semi open mind (I’m working on myself) and am ready for a good weekend. Good? My weekend was GREAT. I learned so much and could sit here and type for hours, but my biggest take away is being reminded that it’s all about the mindset. It’s about the words we say, getting out of our comfort zone, living in alignment with our values, and manifesting the life of our dreams. To be honest, it was a scary weekend…but in a great way. I dusted off some “shelf dreams” that I’d put to the side because they scared the $#!@ out of me!!! LOL! But it felt SO good to be in a room where there were no limiting beliefs and when sharing our goals with each other, they weren’t judged or laughed at because a person couldn’t see the “how” of how it was going to happen. I was reminded to: TRUST, ALLOW, AND DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE HOW! Going in to the weekend, I was still mulling over a few words but after this past weekend’s clarity, my word of the year is…. MANIFEST. I am a MASTER MANIFESTOR.
As a master manifestor, I will: -Be mindful of my words - Control my thoughts - Remain focused Now, don’t just think because I’ve decided to be a master manifestor, that fairy dust will fall over me and it will happen (that would be cool though, lol!). No, this is a DAILY practice. I know that change is possible, but focus is required. This year, I am manifesting all my goals and desires. I’m walking into each day as if IT IS SO and staying in a mindset of GRATITUDE (so important) for all that has been manifested!!! So join me! Comment your word down below, and let’s commit to remaining focused throughout the year as we truly embody our word of the year. Continue to be great! Xoxo, Abnormally Ab p.s- Thank you Tasha and Diane for putting together such a phenomenal event. I’m grateful.
